Certified Resume Writer: Dawn Bugni

Dawn’s business, The Write Solution, grew from seeds planted more than twenty years ago when she volunteered for The Woman’s Center of Wake County as a career adviser on Saturday mornings. After completing an intensive twelve-week training course, she assisted clients in crafting interview-landing resumes and coached them through the search process.

She spent twenty-five years holding positions in manufacturing, inventory control and finally running the order processing / customer service department for Square D Company in Knightdale, NC before being recruited for and accepting a position with Chloride Systems as their customer service manager. She left Chloride Systems in 2000 and spent two years as a contingency executive recruiter. While recruiting, her passion for writing and helping others reignited and the rest, as they say, is history. Started in 2002, her business, The Write Solution, is a natural merger of personal training, education, experience and career industry knowledge.

Using her extensive background and targeted questioning, she uncovers hidden talents from a wide variety of clients. She presents skills in a compelling manner and boosts client confidence in the process. Arnold Boldt included one of her resumes in his book, Resumes for the Rest of Us.

A Bachelor of Science in Business Management and credentials through Career Directors International as a Certified Master Resume Writer (CMRW), Career Thought Leaders as a Master Resume Writer (MRW), and The Professional Association of Resume Writers as a Certified Professional Resume Writer ( CPRW) rounds out her expertise.

In addition to a thriving business, she blogs and proudly affiliate with colleagues as part of Certified Professional Resume Writers (AKA – The Resume Chicks). She also tweets job search advice on Twitter (@DawnBugni)  and is included on many “Career people to follow” lists on Twitter. She stays current with career industry trends through continuing education, a strong social media network and solid professional affiliations as a member of Career Directors International, The National Resume Writer’s Association and The Professional Association of Resume Writers.

She works with clients across the United States from her virtual office in Atkinson, NC, about 30 miles outside of Wilmington, NC.
